What you bring to the table
As the Head of Information Technology, you report to our Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for overseeing the Club's technology services and infrastructure.
The scope of the role will include:
- Lead, direct and develop the IT Team’s capability to meet business needs.
- Develop and manage collaborative ICT relationships - internal and external.
- Develop and implement effective ICT policies, systems and governance.
- Identify, assess and control ICT risks, including but not limited to security, service continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Plan, direct and control IT services and solutions to meet customer needs, including maintenance, growth, and transformational requirements.
- Plan and manage IT resourcing, including budgets, staff, service providers and contractors, and software licensing.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a candidate who brings:
- Proven success as an IT Team Leader / IT Manager.
- Tertiary education in in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
- Familiarity with core platforms, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce. Fortinet and VMware.
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
