Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marketing to join our Henne team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on digital strategy and digital advertising performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital marketing and sales strategies to boost brand awareness, leads, and sales.
- Manage the digital presence and analyse data for performance optimisation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including brand positioning, product promotion, and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define marketing objectives, target audience, and key messaging for various marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of Marketing materials, including digital and print assets, website content and email campaigns.
- Manage and optimise digital marketing channels, including SEO, digital advertising, email marketing, and social media, to maximise ROI and reach target audiences.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement, to measure the effectiveness of Marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing efforts and drive innovation, especially in the digital space.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively to optimise marketing spend and achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant University qualification - Bachelor in Marketing, Management or related discipline
- Minimum 7+ years similar experience in the e-commerce fashion and or e-commerce retail sector
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience managing a team
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing marketing strategy, e-commerce experience and experience managing a CRM
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels such as Digital Advertising Social Media, EDM marketing, and SEO
- Digital Agency experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of product management, product life cycle and segmentation, forecasting marketing sell through tactics to investment strategies
- Strategic mindset to competitively position the brand within the market
- Deep comprehension of customer behaviours and preferences
- Capability to develop and execute customer-centric marketing strategies comprehensively
- Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors
- Effective project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns and projects
- Proficient in utilising marketing automation tools and analytics platforms
- Capacity to establish clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and resolve issues promptly.
