AddressThe Head of Netball is responsible for the leadership, administration and development of the Netball programme at Kincoppal Rose Bay. The role has the responsibility of leading, supervising and mentoring all coaches across the netball programme and fostering the development of players of all abilities and levels, as well their overall enjoyment of the sport. Specific duties and responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of the netball coaching programme and ensuring that all goals align with the overall vision of Kincoppal Rose Bay sport.
- Strategically develop, lead and inspire the team of coaches to embody and model those qualities required to promote excellence and maximise enjoyment in the Kincoppal School Sport’s programme.
- In collaboration with the Head of senior and junior school sport, responsible for the identification, recruitment and selection of appropriately trained and skilled coaches who are aligned with the schools’ values and vision
- Attend training sessions at school and the Randwick Netball competition on Saturdays at Heffron Park
- Attend to administrative matters as required- ensuring relevant netball pages are kept up to date with relevant information and working with the RNA’s PLAY HQ database
- Create a strong profile and develop and maintain appropriate relationships with parents and all relevant organisations (RNA & IGSA)
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of equipment for the sport and ensure all sports equipment is properly maintained
This is a casual role that will involve a coaching and administrative work split working roughly 20 hours a week. The school’s netball programme takes place 6:45-8am Monday to Friday and the school compete in the Randwick Netball Association competition at Heffron Park on Saturday’s 8am-16:30pm.
