About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to Head the Operations team in our Head Office based in Bundaberg Queensland. The role is to oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of our operational departments (Customer Service, Distribution, Procurement, and Supply Chain) nationwide, reporting to the Managing Director.
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring operational targets are achieved, and enhancing customer satisfaction across all operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the achievement of revenue targets by reaching production targets
- Development and execution of the strategic operations plan
- Maintain operations budget and reporting in accordance with approved budget parameters
- Implementation and management of systems and processes to ensure optimum production and quality is maintained
- Manage procurement, supply chain processes, and inventory strategies
- Manage key supplier relationships, including overseeing SLA’s, and drive cost savings and efficiencies as part of ownership of the purchasing function
- Lead, coach and mentor direct reports
- Ensure all HSEQ Policies, Processes and Procedures are followed, working with the HSEQ Manager to maintain and improve these
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the entire Operations Department
- Plan and monitor day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Evaluate and improve operational procedures to align with organisational objectives.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards.
- Provide insights and feedback to other areas of the business (such as new product development, product performance etc)
- Contribute to the overall business success as part of the Lead Team

About You:
- Formal qualification in management, business, or related field (desirable).
- Minimum 5 years in a similar senior operations management role.
- Strong background in procurement, logistics, HR, and internal communications.
- Demonstrated strategic leadership in national operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently
- Proven track record in cost centre management and reporting.
- Expertise in recruitment, training, performance management, safety, and staff development.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, time management, and planning skills.
- Commitment to high-level customer service and business relationship management.
