The Muragh Group is currently hunting for a new Head Chef for Botany | Newstead. If you are seeking a role that offers plenty of freedom, menu creation, great challenges and no two days the same - then this is the role for you.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee all matters regarding the kitchen. Staff management, rostering, supplier accounts, COGS, compliance, menu creation & design, etc. KPI's attached to your role focus on COGS within the kitchen - wages and food costs.
Botany | Newstead:
Botany is the absolute Newstead local. Solid weekday trade with great lunch deals, daily happy hours and a very strong local following. Weekend brunch is also immensely popular. Botany trades 7 days. 11:30am open on weekdays and 8:30am on weekends. Closed Sunday nights for dinner.
A tight kitchen team, runs some quick services with minimal staff so organisation and prep planning are necessary. Sell out events on days like Mothers Day, Valentines day, Christmas Eve etc. We also take part in Teneriffe Festival each year.
