We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Operations, Early Learning Services to join the operations of Georges River Council. This role will oversee and support the operations and compliance of our centres and will be primarily based in Beverly Hills.

What We Offer
- Permanent, Full-time role - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary from $111,220.76 - $128,863.29 per annum plus 11% superannuation (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

About The Role
As the Head of Operations, Early Learning Services, this position oversees the operations of Council Early Learning Services. This role will lead, guide and support the teams to provide high quality early childhood education and care to the community. In addition, the Head of Operations supports the Manager Community and Early Services and may take on their duties as required.
The focus of the Head of OperationsEarly Learning Services is ensuring services are compliant with the Education and Care Services National Law 2010, Regulations 2011, and other legislation, alongside the implementation of the service’s Self Assessment tool.
This role will lead the organisation towards exceeding the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, and the Early Years Learning Framework for Early Education and Care as well as implementing Georges River Council’s Children’s Services Strategic Plan.
The successful candidate will have
- Relevant University Qualification or TAFE Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Working With Children Check
- Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates.
- Current Class C NSW Driver’s Licence
- Understanding of and ability to work within the parameters of the Education and Care National Regulations 2011.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement Early Years Learning Framework National Quality Framework.
- Demonstrated experience working in Early Childhood settings.
- Proven ability to lead a team in the provision of a quality service.
- Demonstrated skills that will enable successful staff supervision.
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to relate to people at all levels within an organisation.
- Proven ability to organise and implement programs.
- Proficient in computer skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of other languages.
- Food Handling and Preparation Training or Certification.
- Experience as Nominated or Responsible Person of an early childhood education and care service.
- Experience as an Educational Leader, Practicum Advisor or Staff Trainer in an early childhood education and care service.
