About the role
We are searching for a passionate and experienced Manager to lead and coordinate our efforts in fostering an inclusive and innovative approach to increasing cricket participation and diversity. This new role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, capitalising on dynamic growth opportunities.
Reporting to the GM Community Cricket, the Head of Participation Growth will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to grow the game across junior and inclusion portfolios to achieve robust KPIs. They will play a key role in driving program awareness, engagement and stakeholder buy-in. In addition, they will be responsible for seeking out opportunities to innovate and tailor cricket programs to community needs.
As an experienced leader they will manage and mentor a team of direct reports and model SACA's values - accountability, team first and world class. They will be responsible for creating a positive culture which supports innovation, initiative, professional development and the achievement of results.
About you
· Experienced people leader with demonstrated success and experience in coaching, developing and mentoring staff.
· Experience driving a high-performance culture and leading a team to achieve KPIs.
· Demonstrated change management skills.
· Ability to develop and implement growth and inclusion strategies, policies, and programs.
· Experience in building and managing external partnerships with industry associations and community organisations.
· A track record of instilling a growth mindset across teams and comfortable with being hands-on, whilst thinking strategically.
· Excellent project management, presentation and communication skills.
· Strategic thought leadership skills to identify and address participation/engagement challenges/barriers faced in non-traditional markets.
· Experience in using metrics to uncover insights and opportunities for growth and innovation.
· Proven budgeting skills and ability to manage a significant internal cost centre.
· You enjoy being part of and building a positive working culture.
· You will hold or be willing to obtain a valid working with children check.

SACA is one of the nation's premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia's favorite sport - a sport for all Australians. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket at State level.
SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier Cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management. SACA also administers high-performance cricket in South Australia, including the South Australian women's and men's teams and the Adelaide Strikers women's and men's teams.
