About the role
We have an exciting opportunity available to lead the growth of sustainable cricket participation in Clubs and Schools across South Australia.
Reporting to the GM Community Cricket, the Head of Clubs and Schools will ignite excitement and enthusiasm among community Clubs and Schools to grow cricket participation and engagement across South Australia, including through engaging children and families in Woolworths Cricket Blast (WWCB) programs, school and club programs.
A key expectation of this new role will be to lead a team to nurture positive relationships with Clubs and Schools and provide unparalleled support and service, with the overall objective of providing outstanding experiences for participants and a safe and inclusive environment.
As an experienced leader they will manage and mentor a team of direct reports and model SACA's values - accountability, team first and world class. They will be responsible for creating a positive culture which supports innovation, initiative, professional development and the achievement of results.
About you
· Experienced people leader with demonstrated success and experience in coaching, developing and mentoring staff.
· Experience driving a high-performance culture and leading a team to achieve KPIs.
· Demonstrated change management skills.
· Experience in working collaboratively with varied and diverse stakeholder groups.
· A track record of instilling a growth mindset across teams and comfortable being hands-on, whilst thinking strategically.
· Excellent project management, presentation and communication skills.
· Appetite for adopting a cohesive, team-based approach to drive accountability for achieving goals and targets.
· Experience in using metrics to uncover insights and opportunities for growth and innovation.
· Proven budgeting skills and ability to manage a significant internal cost centre.
· You enjoy being part of and building a positive working culture.
· You will hold or be willing to obtain a valid working with children check.

SACA is one of the nation's premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia's favorite sport - a sport for all Australians. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket at State level.
SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier Cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management. SACA also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the South Australian women's and men's teams and the Adelaide Strikers women's and men's teams.
