As Transurban grows, there is an ongoing need for People and Culture (P&C) to shape, drive and implement the strategic people agenda for Transurban that underpin our strategic ambitions. The Head of People and CultureEnablement Partnering is a senior role within the P&C function, focussing on the provision of strategic, commercially focussed P&C advice to the business, while driving change and initiatives that leverage P&C capability and programs.


Day-to-day, you will:

  • Work closely with Business Leaders to ensure key strategic and operational people priorities are successfully delivered to leaders and employees.
  • Develop trusted, credible and influential relationships with relevant Executives and Senior Leaders to be able to contribute to their agendas through a commercially focussed P&C lens.
  • Consult with Executives and Senior Leaders to build an adaptive and future ready organisation with a focus on enterprise talent and workforce capability.
  • Drive a culture that enables the organisation to continue to adapt to an accelerated pace of change and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Provide insight on appropriate organisational design and capability uplift to support any business transformation activities.
  • Provide best practice, commercial HR thinking and insights into strategic and operational matters.


This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Extensive partnering experience with Senior Leadership Teams (GMs) and Group Executives.
  • Capacity to adapt and thrive in multiple, complex environments and business phases, as well the ability to demonstrate resilience and promote an adaptive culture.
  • Passion and drive in the execution of a high performance People and Culture agenda
  • Versatile knowledge and work experience with proven skills to identify, contribute to organisational design
  • Skills in critical thinking, analytical ability and problem solving, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to decisions and recommendations.
  • Learning agility, giving you the ability to build an understanding of key business drivers quickly, leveraging your curiosity and initiative.
  • Sophisticated stakeholder engagement skills, derived from working in fast-pace complex environments.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, provide purpose and influence Senior Leaders
  • A growth mindset - you won't be afraid to challenge the status quo, helping to problem solve through your persistence, passion and the ability to influence and negotiate within an ambiguous and changing environment.
