Job Description
Head of Culture & People position (culture is that important to us we have put it first!)
Our Head of Culture & People plays a key leadership role within the senior management team at NeuroRehab Allied Health Network – the position works regularly with our executive team and reports directly to the CEO. With executive support, you will be responsible for leading strategic People directions and delivery of team member services across the organisation. You will lead, support and provide cover for our Team Member Services department, to ensure the team achieves both overall company targets and their individual functional accountability objectives. You’ll need to be ready to step into talent acquisition, team member compliance, performance management, disputes and disciplinary actions when demand in these areas temporarily increases (ie. being ready to not just lead but also help out your direct reports as needed).

Our current HRIS is ELMO and we would love to recruit someone that has experience in this system that can use and teach it confidently.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Overall management of People services including recruitment, HR integrity, performance management, learning, well-being, diversity and communications.
Develop, execute, and optimise people strategy in alignment with organisational priorities.
Continually work to refine our employee value proposition for optimal recruitment and retention success.
Be the subject matter expert (and promoter) for wellbeing and psychosocial risk, as well as diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Be the subject matter expert for IR and be the first approver for all team member employment agreements.
Champion our employer brand and employee engagement.
Contribute to NeuroRehab Allied Health Network staying in the top 20 Best Workplaces Australia list.
Facilitate the implementation of mandatory training and development.
Amendments to team member employment variations and details.
Encourage, lead, support and bring excitement to Team Member Services (your team).
The conditions for the role will follow the Health Professional and Support Services 2020 award, with an above-rate salary. We are looking for the successful applicant to have full-time availability but will consider applications for part-time of at least 30 hours per week for the right candidate. A hybrid role capacity is available with 2 days required to be present at our Deer Park office space.
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Holds a minimum bachelor’s degree in HR or any business-related field.
5+ years of experience as a HR/People & Culture Manager however, if you are younger and know you can step up to the above brief then don’t hesitate to take the opportunity to apply.
A strong command of ELMO and Microsoft suite.
Be confident leading and presenting inductions and training events.
Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check.
HR experience in a Health / Disability / Aged care model.
Experience in diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing.
