Position Overview: The Head of Practices (HoP) will be responsible for building and nurturing the Akkodis Practices to create a community where consultants can access best practices, support career growth, and enhance delivery outcomes. Reporting to the Vice President of Tech Consulting, the HoP will oversee a team of Practice Leads and Special Interest Group Leads to ensure alignment with Akkodis' objectives and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities: * Team Leadership:
- Build and motivate a high-performing team of Practice Leads and Special Interest Group Leads.
- Develop career plans for designated Practice Leads to support their growth and development.
- Conduct regular practice management meetings to monitor progress and address challenges.
- Serve as an escalation point for consultants, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Evolution of Akkodis Practices Maturity:
- Establish a Practices Maturity Capability model to assess and enhance practice maturity.
- Collaborate with each practice to develop plans for evolving maturity across key capabilities.
- Provide regular reporting to the VP of Tech Consulting on the performance and maturity of Akkodis Practices.
- Consultant Culture, Career Growth & Retention
- Consultant engagement measured through eNPS survey.
- Practice retention rate measured quarterly.
- Practice IDP completion rate.
- Quality of Practice
- Quality of service and delivery measured through client NPS survey.
- Practice utilization measured through workforce planning reporting.
- Practice Maturity
- Number of Consultants in Practices.
- Practices maturity assessed quarterly against the Akkodis Practices Maturity Capability model.
- Growth
- Opportunities identified by Practices.
- Pre-sales activities supported by Practices.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in consulting with a successful track record in management and team leadership.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of various industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Financial management skills and budgeting experience.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
