What you'll do:We have an exciting opportunity for a
Head of Replenishment and
Systems Optimisation to join the Wholesale & Pharmacy Services team. Reporting to the General Manager of Product and Replenishment, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving inventory planning, replenishment and data reporting strategies that optimise customer service levels, inventory health, working capital and costs of doing business. Working in partnership with key stakeholders across Wesfarmers Health, you will create and deliver plans that improve DC replenishment within the network of 7 DCs nationwide.Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading the replenishment teams towards achieving best in class service levels, ensuring optimal stock availability
- Enhancing demand forecast accuracy at DCs, considering customer demand, seasonal variations, and market volatility
- Implementing new product development (NPD) strategies into replenishment and forecasting processes
- Ongoing inventory optimisation management to ensure replenishment policies and system settings are in sync with business needs and targets
- System optimisation and automation through understanding business challenges and leverage system functionality that generates sustainable systemic solutions
- Utilising process excellence methodologies to analyse, document, and propose future process enhancements aligned with business objectives
What you'll bring:To be successful in this role, you would have demonstrated a successful track record in a similar position, ideally in a large-scale environment that is fast paced with the added complexity of dealing with date sensitive articles. You will have extensive supply chain and demand planning experience and your strong inventory and replenishment knowledge to find efficient solutions and processes will set you apart. Other attributes and experiences that will make you succeed include:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills and experience using and improving systems
- Demonstrated success in driving change management, process excellence and continuous improvement
- Ability to use data, knowledge, and experience to identify problems and proactively develop and implement effective solutions
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or related discipline that involves process improvements skills
