Remuneration range $157,540 to $176,641 plus superannuation
About the role
The role of the Head of Research is to provide leadership in fostering excellence in research, teaching, professional activities and policy development in the academic discipline within Calvary Health Care Sydney (CHCS), the Cunningham Centre and the broader health care communities locally, nationally and internationally.
What you bring
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care.
A Masters or PhD in a health discipline and relevant research experience with a track record of palliative care/rehabilitation related research initiatives.
An established or developing reputation of leadership in the field of palliative/supportive care and/or rehabilitation care with a high level of credibility and relevant experience within clinical settings.
Effective organisational abilities in academic and/or health system environments and capacity to work with others in a team environment working with a consultative, collaborative style of working and demonstrating outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to foster excellence in research and effectively identify research opportunities.
Demonstrated evidence of successful supervision of research and/or clinical and administrative staff.
Demonstrated advanced computer literacy including an ability to undertake data analysis using software such as Excel, NVivo and SPSS.
