About the role:
As the Head of Retail Operations Support, you will be responsible for overseeing the national store network's operations. With the support of and reporting to the Chief Retail Officer, this role is all about improving efficiency's to optimise sales, ensure resources are successfully adapted in stores, driving strategy and agreed objectives in store and any other means of increasing revenue and team satisfaction in the workplace. You will be the key player between the Support Office and the store network ensuring operations are managed and tangible results are delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Training and developing the retail teams through effective coaching and communication
- Driving collaborative environments so the retail team have input into business values
- Development initiatives to add value and increase revenue through achievement of sales and KPI's
- Ability to translate strategies into realities within the store network
- Drive a 'safety first, always' message across the store teams
- Drive a high performance culture based team
- Be involved in the recruitment and on boarding of team members
- Foster relationships between Support Office and store to ensure the customer is always front of mind
- Work cross-functionally for continued business growth and partner with logistics regularly
- Ensuring operational excellence across all store locations including showroom floor and back of house
- Reporting and presenting to the wider business as required
About you:
The successful person will come with experience in a similar role supporting large teams. You will understand the importance of the relationship between Support Office and stores, and what that means for the customer experience. Having held a similar role or confidently feel you're ready for the next step in your career, this is a great move. I'm looking for a real people leader, driver out successful outcomes and delivers revenue and KPI expectations. Highly developed communication, financial acumen and admin skills are also a must as is notable experience driving a safety first culture where no corners are cut.
