Role Overview:
We're in search of an experience Head of Sales to lead our strategic and tactical account management teams. In addition to developing and coaching the sales teams, this pivotal role is focused on nurturing key client relationships on a national scale and driving major accounts, including supermarkets, food manufacturers, and logistics distributors. With a focus on strategic leadership and performance excellence, you'll navigate intricate fleet management agreements and design sophisticated contract structures to drive substantial sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and refine sophisticated sales strategies that align with Eurocold's overarching business objectives. Leverage comprehensive market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends. Implement advanced sales metrics for performance tracking and optimization.
- Leadership & Development: Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Conduct evaluations of the sales process to optimise efficiency. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Market Engagement: Cultivate and manage key accounts, forging collaborative relationships with strategic clients. Identify and cultivate partnerships with industry stakeholders to expand market reach and enhance our value proposition.
Key Relationships:
Internal: Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team, including the CEO, CFO, COO, State Managers, Fleet Manager, Production, and Eurocold state-based teams.
External: Cultivate relationships with customers, prospective clients, industry bodies, OEM/supplier partners, and industry peers.
About You:
- Proven track record of senior leadership in sales and strategic account management roles.
- In-depth understanding of fleet management and the refrigerated transport industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and exceed targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
