This a unique opportunity to join a highly successful, growing organisation in pivotal phase of our technology journey. In this newly created Senior Leadership role, you will report directly to the CIO and be responsible for the delivery of Software solutions across the enterprise.
As a dynamic and agile environment, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, secure software solutions that propel business growth and meet customer needs. You will have 9 direct reports within 5 product teams and overall responsibility of approximately 50 team members across the function. Your role will have four key focuses:
- Leadership | Lead a high performing team through driving performance and outcomes, fostering a strong culture of engagement and continuous development of our people
- Software Delivery | Design and drive implementation of the Software Delivery strategy, championing best practice, security-by-design principles and fostering innovation
- Commercial outcomes | Partner with the Executive team to understand strategic objectives of the business and translate into commercially astute software solutions
- Risk, Compliance and Governance | Partner with the Risk & Compliance team to ensure regulatory requirements are met and technology risks are mitigated
Are you our Head of Software Delivery?
We are looking for a senior technology leader that has extensive experience leading Software Delivery in a commercial business. You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive high performance, accountability, and build an engaged team. Your commercial acumen will see you leading the delivery of Software solutions that support the business in achieving our strategic objectives and support our ongoing growth.
Your deep understanding of Agile methodologies, IT governance, vendor management, cloud services, and product knowledge will be instrumental in achieving excellence within the organisation. You’ll need to demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading high performing software development teams in a commercial business
- Strong understanding of Software security in a development context
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD practices, agile methodologies and software quality assurance processes
- Extensive leadership experience with a focus on engagement and high performance
