About the role
Enerven’s Senior Leadership Team is growing and we are now seeking a Head of Strategy and Development, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer who will support our strategic vision and growth.
This is an opportunity for a visionary leader to elevate Enerven’s approach to strategic planning, customer management, business development, brand and marketing. You will be instrumental in evolving the way we think about and deliver these critical business functions, and will help foster a consistent, holistic and strategically aligned approach to our business planning and delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
Guiding the planning, development and implementation of a strategy that ensures long-term success, viability, and performance, supporting key sub-strategies critical to business success
Establishing and managing the go-to -market strategies, branding and strategic communications plans, positioning Enerven as a national player
Partnering with senior leaders and the business development team to support the identification and execution of opportunities into revenue generating propositions
Overseeing large scale bid opportunities, business cases and strategic partnerships aligned to Enerven’s direction
Driving a coordinated approach to develop and implement a robust strategic customer relationship management framework
Mature connections with key industry players (potential clients, suppliers, external agencies, etc.) to support the business pipeline
About you
You will bring demonstrated experience working at a senior level across a range of business functions, including strategic planning, client relationship management, business development and brand and marketing functions.
You can articulate your vision in a compelling way and are highly effective in reframing perceptions around traditional approaches. You are an innovative driver of change, with a focus on defining, planning and delivering a coordinated strategy that ensures long-term business success, viability, and performance.
A minimum bachelor’s level qualification in business management, commerce, finance, engineering or equivalent
Extensive experience in the infrastructure construction/civil engineering industry
Experience in Senior leadership roles focussed on business growth and expansion
Organisational strategic planning experience
Strategic business development and bid leadership skills
Client Relationship Management experience
Knowledge of the energy sector and relevant state and federal decision-making processes will be highly regarded
Work location is flexible, however there is a strong preference for the role to be based at our Adelaide Head Office. Relocation support is available.
