Our client, a fast-growing media organisation is searching for a visionary and experienced Head of Operations to lead their technical teams and drive Innovation in the dynamic world of retail media. In this role you will be responsible for shaping the technology roadmap and overseeing platform security, reliability, governance, and scalability. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and fuelling the organisations competitive edge.
There will be a significant emphasis on stakeholder management, road mapping and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute: Develop and implement a robust operations strategy aligned with the client’s broader technology and data vision.
- Shape the future: Collaborate with leadership to define innovative solutions and create a lasting advantage in the retail media landscape.
- Lead with expertise: Guide and empower diverse operations teams encompassing site reliability engineering, cloud operations, digital screens, hardware, infrastructure, and support.
- Build talent: Foster a dynamic environment for engineer growth through mentorship, coaching, and effective talent management strategies.
- Champion best practices: Oversee architecture and implementation, ensure quality standards, optimize developer productivity, and advocate for secure, scalable, and reliable systems across the organization.
- Communicate and deliver: Track progress, manage risks, and maintain stakeholder alignment throughout the technology roadmap implementation, owning project development and delivery.
- Support across the board: Lead the operational design and support for all business applications and products, from inception to post-launch, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Security first: Implement and maintain robust security and governance across all platforms, systems, and data.
- Digital screen mastery: Lead the Digital Screen Centre of Excellence, overseeing the rollout, operation, and evolution of the client’s digital screen network.
