We are looking for a Head Pastry Chef who can bring their ideas, enthusiasm and pride to our bakery and work with the team in a fruitful way.
Qualifications & experience
- Passion for pastry operations and a true desire to deliver exceptional guest experience.
- Be results orientated with a dedication to exceed customer expectations.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable.
- Trade qualifications as pastrycook or baker is desirable.
- Technical knowledge with experience in pastry techniques and styles, with ability to maintain high and consistent standards
- High organizational skills & grooming standards
- Flexibility to work rotating roster including morning or evenings
- 2 years minimum experience or 5 years if no trade qualification
Tasks & responsibilities
- Have knowledge in preparing, baking and finishing pastry products such as individual cakes, croissants and tarts
- Have experience in mixing dough & laminating
- Have great attention to detail
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Be flexible with start and finish times and able to work weekends when needed.

Salary
Between $70k to 80k+ super
