Your new role
The Health & Safety Coordinator is a pivotal role, which entails efficiently delivering project documentation, supporting the site supervisor and handling diverse duties. Additionally, the role includes undertaking responsibilities as the on-site safety person and environment representative. Furthermore, providing guidance on QSE related matters and offering advice and assistance to management are key aspects of this multifaceted position.
The main duties will be:
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, processes and QSE management systems are implemented for the project site
- Report all incidents and assist with investigations
- Assess the work performance done by subcontractors and workers
- Establish and maintain all project QSE site documentation
- Assist the Project Manager with updating the project programme and other forecasting
- Assist with monthly progress claims
- Monthly Site waste reporting and Site Statistics reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Engineering or similar
- On-site experience in the civil construction industry or similar
- Aptitude for understanding the risks and precautions associated with demolition, construction and excavation
- Knowledge and exposure to QSE Management Systems
- Ability to train other personnel
