The Opportunity

As a Health Concierge Clinician, your role is to connect with predefined cohorts of Medibank members, delivering a phone-based support service at varying points of members' health journey by providing clinical, emotional, and practical advice, and where relevant, to educate members about other Medibank health offerings relevant to their needs.

You will also assist and empower members in navigating the health system and offering support, link them to support services and resources and provide relevant collateral within the scope of the program.

Details:

  • We have permanent full time and part time (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) positions available.
  • Start date is 22nd April - with 10 days of full-time training (Mon- Fri) before moving to your fixed roster.
  • Training will be Virtual. After training you can choose to work from home or in one of our offices or a combination of both.
  • Your working days will be rostered across the hours of 9-6 pm (Melbourne local time) Monday to Friday.
  • Please note, you will need fast, reliable internet and appropriate workspace to ensure privacy whilst working.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service with strong interpersonal skills displaying empathy and a thoroughly engaging phone manner. You have a focused mindset to deliver exceptional service to Medibank members via the phone. Self-motivated and proactive, you are comfortable working to KPIs and targets.

Additionally, the candidate will bring:

  • Minimum 1 years' post qualification experience in Australia
  • Strong computer skills, including experience using multiple systems and the ability to learn new operating systems.
  • Degree in health: you are either a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Pharmacist or Dietitian with AHPRA or relevant registration,
  • Previous customer service or telephone-based experience, using SharePoint and Verint will be advantageous, however not necessary.
