We seek a meticulous individual with sound organisational skills and a healthcare management background for the Bethesda Health Care Manager, Health and Information role.
About the Role
The Health Information Manager oversees the hospital's Health Information service to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimal patient outcomes.
About You
To succeed in this position as a result-driven leader, you should demonstrate practical clinical coding experience and robust problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information management or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead and inspire team members, coupled with adept management of departmental goals and targets
- Familiarity with Diagnostic Related Groups (DRG) case payment systems
- Ability to handle data extraction and submission to external entities
- Previous experience with managing scanning solution portals and managing remote clinical coders
- Current national police clearance
- Familiarity with private sector funding models (preferred)
