About the Role
- Provide CAQ with expert advice in relation to terminology, data definition, data collection matters and information systems.
- Negotiate and liaise with key stakeholders regarding requirements, data collections and the timely availability of cancer data for service improvement and clinical care.
- To initiate, conduct and analyse coding audits for data quality improvement purposes.
- Review data requests for accuracy and compliance with legislative and policy requirements under direction of the Cancer Control Information Manager, QCCAT.
- Work closely with students and clients as requested to facilitate aspects of approved data access projects.
- Utilise the expertise of team members and clinicians to identify discrepancies and update inaccurate or incomplete information.
