Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
Health Information Release Officers (HIR) are responsible for the processing of all Release of Information (ROI) Requests received by the Health Information & Records Service (HIRS).
The incumbent of this position is required to have the ability to undertake all Release of Information Tasks within the Health Information Release team.

Selection Criteria:
- Understanding of patient confidentiality, Release of Information policies & knowledge of health record processes
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time appropriately, prioritise workload and work under pressure
- Demonstrated enthusiastic work ethic and the ability to and work as part of a team
- Excellent computer skills across a variety of applications
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
- Ability to work across multiple WSLHD facilities as required
