Health Records Administrator – Clarence Correctional Centre
Part Time - Monday – Wednesday (7:30am – 3:36pm / 8:00am – 4:06pm)
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager you will provide comprehensive and sustainable administrative services to the healthcare team in our correctional environment. Organised and with a high attention to detail you will be responsible for booking appointments, clinical record keeping, providing daily clinic reports, and ensuring all inmate files are correct.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Healthcare team in assisting them with administrative support.
- Assisting with the preparation and running of clinics in the Healthcare centre.
- Assisting in booking relevant appointments.
- Maintaining all internal and external waiting lists and work to manage these within acceptable timeframes.
- Providing daily clinical reports to staff at the beginning of each day and follow up with any issues and rebooking’s required.
About You – Your ideal skills and experience:
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desired not essential) with the ability to undertake if required
- Experience in providing administration support, ideally in a multi-disciplinary Health Services environment
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications Excel and Word
- Exceptional organisational skills and experience in collating and generating reports
- Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders including procurement and external providers
- Demonstrated effective teamwork working collaboratively with others to achieve the team goals and objectives
