About the role
You'll be a trusted expert supporting the HSE Manager to deliver on the Retail Manufacturing HSE Plans and key programs. While this role leans more toward safety, taking charge of injury management is paramount.
Chef Fresh, as a growing business within the Coles Group, offers significant opportunities for professional growth. Diverse career growth opportunities await, spanning retail, liquor, property safety, and beyond!
Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Implement, manage and maintain health and safety risk management programs.

About you and your skills
You'll have a solid background in injury management, spanning 4-5 years of experience, with a focus on return-to-work processes. This dual role encompasses safety and wellbeing, and while safety qualifications are essential, we welcome applicants from various industries such as manufacturing, retail, or others. Additionally, individuals with an allied health background, such as physios or nurses, are encouraged to apply.
You'll also have:
  • Knowledge of best practice in health, safety and environment and other relevant legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice.
  • Experience working in self-insurance or ISO 45001 accredited safety management systems.
  • Demonstration of ability to incorporate health, safety and wellbeing requirements whilst considering commercially viable and practical solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of injury mechanisms and recovery.
  • Tertiary degree with health and safety and/or allied health competencies, minimum Certificate IV in WHS.
Take your next step into something bigger, apply now

We're continuing to build a gender equitable team, and a culture that's just as diverse, inclusive and welcoming as the communities we serve. We encourage applications from people of all ages, cultures (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples), abilities, sexual orientation and gender identities.
