An exciting opportunity to complete a fully funded Traineeship as part of the Health, Safety and Training Team at a local Muswellbrook mine site. We are seeking applicants who are interested in undertaking a two year Cert IV in
Work Health and Safety Traineeship working Monday to Friday on the mine site. To be a member of the team you will have a high regard for the value of teamwork, a strong work ethic to ensure all goals of the client are met, by acting with honesty and integrity. You will need to demonstrate you are the type of person who will take personal accountability and responsibility for your actions.
What you will be doing You will be a required to complete via correspondence your Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety whilst being provided with a site based mentor.
Provide assistance to the HST team with daily activities including but not limited to: Safety and Compliance tasks Administrative duties including data entry and reporting
Assisting with incident investigation Developing knowledge in injury management and preventative measures Participate in tool box talks and assisting the safe return to work for employees.
Gain mine site experience and an opportunity to learn a number of tasks as part of the team Working Monday to Friday day Shift Roster 7-4pm What
You Need The desire and commitment to complete a Traineeship and set yourself up for a rewarding and ongoing career within the mining industry
Current Drivers Licence and can confidently drive manual Residential address located within 60km of Muswellbrook Order 43 Medical and Drug/Alcohol Test or willing to complete
