This role will provide support to the safety team and is responsible for actively leading and addressing OHS compliance requirements across the organization.Key responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the corporate and business planning process.
- Provide support to managers on legal compliance regarding workcover.
- Coordinate health and safety programs.
- High Stakeholder engagement with external bodies.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Health and Safety especially in the psychosocial hazards.
- Knowledge of injury prevention and injury management strategies.
- Knowledge of workplace injury rehabilitation and compensation of act 2013.
- Able to apply a data driven approach to health and wellbeing issues across the organization.
- Able to work autonomously in a tight knit team.
