The specialist plays a crucial role in providing a critical service that significantly impacts injured workers during challenging times. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and supporting case managers, offering strategic and operational guidance as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopting a strategic and proactive approach to case management.
- Attending and actively participating in claims reviews and clinical case conferences.
- Assessing recovery and liability aspects in line with Victorian workers' compensation.
- Guiding claims teams in complex scenarios and strategies for timely interventions.
- Providing face-to-face support to injured workers, employers, and stakeholders.
- Leading cohort-based claims strategies at various organisational levels.
- Handling lead claims management for high-priority and complex cases.
- Overseeing portfolio responsibilities to meet contractual obligations.
