Responsibilities and functions:
- Provide advice and guidance on training and competency requirements and policies to enhance health and safety within the work environment
- Analyse risks and put processes in place to minimise incidents
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices
- Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation and ensure equipment is installed correctly and safely
- Undertake site inspections and risk assessments to ensure job safety
- Compile relevant stats and prepare reports both for internal and external use
Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Health and Safety systems and ISO standards experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction industry
