The Role
The HS BP will be supporting business leaders across multiple sites in NSW. They will work closely with Site and Operational Managers, coach and support key operational teams, manage risk, and improve safety outcomes for the business.
Duties include:
- Spearhead health and safety strategies across multiple FMCG manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough site visits, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with site leaders to instil a proactive safety culture, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead transformation projects.
- Lead the implementation of health and safety-related transformation projects, overseeing change initiatives within our FMCG manufacturing processes.
- Build and lead a high-performing health and safety team.
Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and providing growth opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a relevant field.
- Professional certification in health and safety is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety professional in FMCG manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success in leading transformation projects, building and leading teams, and implementing WHS frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of FMCG manufacturing health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of driving behavioural change initiatives.
