About The Opportunity
We integrate Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) into all that we do, fostering a culture which has HSW as a core value and supports our vision of providing a workplace free of preventable injury and illness.
The key objective of this pivotal HSW Lead role will be to lead and deliver HSW advice and service enabling positive outcomes to all our employees-driving effectiveness and fostering uplift in HSW maturity and performance across all of our TTi business locations and operations.
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing ANZ, you will have two direct reports and your day to day will include…
- In line with our values and strategic intent, enable a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across all TTIANZ business areas
- In partnership with our People and Culture (P&C) teams, identify opportunities to embed HSW capability and literacy at all stages of the employee lifecycle including delivery of HSW initiatives
- Proactively coach and guide leaders in best practice health, safety and wellbeing management
- Provide mentoring and leadership to direct reports, ensuring that all HSW team members are effective and supported in their roles
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of TTIANZ HSWMS
- Participate in, and if required conduct area of accountability HSW audits to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide advice, interpretation and guidance on application of the TTIANZ HSWMS, as well as leading practices and legislative/regulatory requirements
- Contribute to HSW governance and reporting
- Provide guidance and support on both - incident and hazard - process and application
About You
Ideally you will have a proven track record in a similar hands on HSW Lead role working across multiple sites and locations within a fast paced, dynamic and growing environment in addition to the following skills and attributes:
- Highly experienced background in providing HSW advice and service
- Clearly articulated communication skills across a diverse range of employees
- Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organisation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes
- Sound understanding of ANZ Workcover and related requirements preferred
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Experience in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio)
- Strong attention to detail and well organised
- Min Cert 4 qualifications in WHS combined with solid working experience of Model WHS Act, Regulations and Codes
- Some interstate travel will be required
