BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

The Role
We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic with at least 3 years of experience working on processing plants with preventative maintenance programs and systems. This opportunity is offered on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth or Karratha Residential (Bus in, Bus out) The Heavy Diesel Mechanic plays a crucial role in optimising the performance, availability, and safety of mobile and fixed plant assets. Responsibilities include liaising with the Process Team, Maintenance Planners, Supervisors, and Superintendents to prioritise mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining production continuity.
About You:
The successful candidate will hold:
- A Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Minimum 3+ years post-trade experience, preferably in mining and fixed plants.
- Salt experience is desirable.
- Asset Management and Preventative Maintenance expertise.
- Proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., Pronto) and Microsoft suite.
- Certifications in Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, First Aid, and Low Voltage Rescue.
- Forklift and/or Telehandler skills advantageous.
- Ability to read Engineering Drawings.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that not older than 3 months and if site based must hold a WA White Card.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
