Our OpportunityFortescue are seeking experienced Process Operators to oversee the operation of our Ore Processing Facilities in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, enabling our Fixed Plant Operations to meet current and future operational requirements.

Work Location: Across all Fortescue Pilbara Operations
Roster: 7D7N7R OR 7D7N14R - FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Headland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the efficient operation of the ore processing facility
- Follow standard work instructions
- Conduct daily inspections of processing equipment
- Provide quality shift handovers, and maintain daily logs and reporting
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to help improve plant performance
- Identify hazards in the work environment and resolve them in an efficient and timely manner
- Previous experience operating large scale wet or dry processing plants, ideally in a mining environment
- Ability to risk assess and apply controls with a high regard for safety
- Prior exposure to control room applications highly regarded
- Mobile plant experience - Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Overhead Crane and Telehandler desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through two-way operations
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
