Your role will see you bring to Cape the proven ability in:Carrying out in-house and mobile preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing and repairs to Cape fleet of Plant and Equipment. Carrying out the requisition of all spare parts, components, consumable and major unit assembly items as required for allocated service, repair and build up work. Servicing, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and equipment.
Completing all worksheets, inspection forms, fault reports and other documentation as required. Cleaning and housekeeping duties in the Workshop. Daily work plans and forecasts.
Mentoring and training apprentices and trainees. Running part diagnostics. The interpretation of parts, part drawings and plans.
Compliance with any and all statutory, regulatory, governance and legislative requirements without exception. Ensure production targets are met. Ensure plant utilisation is optimised and damage is minimised
Essential Criteria:Trade Qualification – HD-Mechanical or Diesel Fitter (Australian Recognised)Maintenance on mobile and fixed plant crushing systems
Breakdown prevention maintenance
Hydraulic Systems Knowledge of cone and jaw crushers, screens and conveyors Kleemann, McCloskey, Powerscreen, Metso, FinlayOperate Loader, Excavator, IT, Bobcat/Skid steer and EWP, Bobcat (Desirable)Nationally accredited operator tickets (Desirable)Confined space, Working at Heights, High Risk Work Licence (WP, RB, RI, RA, DG) (Desirable)Team Player that can work unsupervised
Valid Australian Drivers Licence (HR) (desirable)
