General Manager/Sales Manager

StretchLab Black Rock is seeking an experienced General/Sales Manager with a true commitment to offer a 5 star experience for our recently opened studio in the stunning Bayside village of Black Rock.

Position:

The Manager will oversee all Studio functionality from Sales to Staff Management and will bring exceptional leadership, initiative, and a commitment to excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build a thriving Studio with an active, engaged and sustained member base, and increasing member numbers
• Lead the staff team with enthusiasm and dedication to ensure a high performance culture 
• Lead generation including Grassroots Marketing and Networking, B2B Partnerships and Referral Programs
• Implement sales process to schedule prospects into an ‘Intro Stretch’ and oversee post stretch sales processes
• Ensure ongoing membership retention and growth through creatively engaging members ‘beyond the stretch’
• Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
• Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
• Day to day studio management including staff management and scheduling, studio upkeep, 5 star member experience
• Independently make decisions to ensure the success of the studio
• Actively build and nurture positive relationships within the Black Rock community 

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of fitness sales and studio management experience either in a lead or 2IC role
• Confident in generating personal sales and training other staff in sales
• Exceptional ability to convert leads to members
• Ability to work independently and uphold a high level of personal accountability and integrity
• Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.
• Ability to guide, support and mentor a staff team and serve as an exceptional role model for a 5 star studio 
• Able to nurture relationships and handle difficult conversations with grace
• Excellent ability to work with and train staff in studio management software- StretchLab uses ClubReady

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary of $85,000 plus membership growth bonuses
