AddressRGM MAINTENANCE is an industry leader in providing maintenance and repair solutions within the transport industry around Australia since 2002. We are the the local dealer for Mercedes Benz, Freightliner and Fuso as well as the preferred maintenance and service provider for many large fleet customers.
Due to continued growth in both our heavy & Light Vehicle sector, we are looking to expand our Townsville workshop team. We want someone enthusiastic and energetic to join us in the service and maintenance of these brands along with our ongoing commitment to the road, defence and fuel transport industries.
The Role:
- Carry out general servicing on Mercedes Benz Sprinters, trucks and trailers
- Carry out minor and major repairs to various makes & models
- Resolving technical issues with the ability to understand wiring and air schematics
- Diagnose & repair various faults
- Carry our services/repairs in a timely manner
- Above award wages with overtime available
What we are looking for:
- Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, due to the range of vehicles we work on, we are at this time also looking for a specialised Light Vehicle Mechanic.
- 3rd/4th year apprentices with extensive experience across road transport vehicles will also be considered.
- Someone with a can-do attitude and a willingness to get their hands dirty and give it a go.
- Mechanical aptitude and a passion for what you do.
- An understanding of the importance of delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
- Ability to listen well and comprehend complex tasks, exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Current driver’s license is required.
