We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Heavy Truck Driver to join our Regional Assets South Team. Depot. Based in Toowoomba, you will be responsible for working effectively and efficiently as a member of a semi-autonomous team safely performing tasks.

- Base Salary of $77,000 with earnings up to 100,000 + 12.75% super - including penalties, weekend work and OT
- 9-day fortnight - 0700 to 1600 (Mon-Fri one week, Mon-Thur following)

- All PPE & tools supplied, and anything required for the role (Including Licenses)
- As a Heavy Truck Driver you will be responsible for undertaking the safe transport of goods and equipment utilising a rigid body or articulated motor truck, including the loading, securing and unloading of the vehicle load, and ensuring the proper maintenance of the vehicle.
- In this role you will:
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Able to travel around the South East Queensland and the Western Downs
- Contribute to the work output of the team by carrying out duties in a responsible manner in accordance with competency allocations.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the Safety Management System.
- Being in possession of various trade tickets, machinery and licences. Essential items include HC Licence or MC Licence, Excavator Ticket, Loader and Bob Cat.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Must have capacity to travel and work within Regional Queensland, and work in outdoors conditions in and around track equipment and structures as required.
- Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends and work outside normal yours if required.
- Front-end loader, excavator, skid steer, truck licence, or other licences/ tickets are desirable.
