The Opportunity
As a Heavy Vehicle Assessor – Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and assessments of Heavy Vehicles for insurance claims, repairs, and maintenance. You will also perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical advice and solutions to customers and staff. You will travel to various locations across the Metro region to inspect and report on vehicles on-site. You will also liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of each assessment.
You
- Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle mechanics or equivalent
- Current driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Experience in Heavy Vehicle servicing and repairs
- Strong knowledge of Heavy Vehicle systems, components, and regulations
- Attention to detail and accuracy in assessing and reporting
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- A positive attitude and a team player mentality
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive hourly rate between $50 and $55 based on your skill and experience.
