Santa Maria College is a leading Catholic girls' school, founded by the Sisters of Mercy with 1,280 students in Years 5 - 12 including150 boarders.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced Administrative Assistant (Health and PE).
The successful applicant will provide high quality technical and administrative services to support the delivery of a wide variety of sports to College students.
This role is a Part-Time (0.8 FTE term time only) ongoing position, commencing in June, 2024.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following essential skills:
- Model and maintain the Catholic and Mercy ethos and traditions of the College
- Strong administration experience preferably in a sport environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-organised, accurate, flexible, creative and innovative
- Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Meet Manager and Go Jaro
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- A passion for sport and enjoy assisting parents and students
Desirable but not essential:-
- Experience in Synergetic, SEQTA and Edval
- “MR” Class driver's licence
- Experience in a comparable role, preferably in a school
- First Aid Certificate
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A current and validated National Criminal History Record Check (as issued by the Western Australian Department of Education)
- Working With Children Check
- Completion of Child Protection Training on appointment
