Basin Sands Logistics Pty Ltd is a privately owned company that provides logistics and support services to several mining companies. BSL has operational sites in Far West NSW and the Murray Darling Basin. BSL is currently in a growth phase after recently undertaking a new long term contract in Far West NSW. Covering BSL sites we are looking for an experienced and committed Diesel Mechanic to assist with the efficient and safe maintenance of our Heavy Vehicle fleet. Maintenance of all other machinery such as Loaders, Reach Stackers, Graders and other road maintenance plant will also be captured.
About You:
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter or Equivalent.
- Experience working on heavy mobile equipment, trucks, trailers and diesel engines.
- Basic hydraulic knowledge.
- Strong fault-finding skills and breakdown support.
- A good attitude and strong 'team player' with the proven ability to work efficiently with others.
- Able to work unsupervised
- Own reliable transport to drive in / drive out
