Our Broken Hill Depot is seeking a full-time experienced Foreperson who is also a qualified heavy Diesel Mechanic interested in joining our fantastic company to build a successful career. This role is standalone and does not involve managing a team, as you will be the only heavy Diesel Mechanic on site. To succeed in this position, you should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work hands-on as a mechanic, be dedicated to delivering high-quality work, and have the ability to ensure that your site operates according to schedule.
Working on our large fleet of modern buses, you will be responsible for all aspects of bus maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled servicing and diagnosis, reporting and repairing vehicle faults. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone passionate about the industry and eager to grow with our business.

To be successful in this role, you must:
- An uncompromising approach to health and safety.
- Hold a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (experience within the bus industry will be advantageous) – or equivalent qualification.
- A Heavy Vehicle Licence (or be willing and able to obtain).
- The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
