ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to ongoing growth, we now have available a permanent, full-time opportunity for Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing and passionate team. This highly valued position Heavy Diesel Mechanic ensures all fleet vehicles and equipment are maintained in excellent working order, to minimise unplanned downtime. This position will require experience in the following:
- Diagnose problems with fleet vehicles and equipment and complete necessary routine maintenance to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation
- Drive vehicle combinations in accordance with regulations and company procedures
- Inspect truck for safe operation condition before, during and after trips including submission of trip inspections if required
ABOUT YOU
This valued position will require:
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Heavy Vehicle Road Transport).
- Experience with hydraulics and neumatics.
- Experience in maintenance and repair or Heavy Vehicles
- Strong understanding and grasp of Workplace Health and Safety.
- MC Licence.
- Forklift licence.
- Have Class c driver license
