About Us
Rosmech is Australia's leading independent supplier of specialised truck mounted and compact road sweepers. We are seeking individuals with strong mechanical skills who will use their knowledge coupled with on-the-job training to grow and develop with the business.
Requirements of the Role
This full-time position based in Salisbury Plain will report to the National Fleet and Service Manager and will be responsible for:
- The completion of all required service and repair work on various machinery;
- Diesel Engine fault diagnosis, repairs and reconditioning:
- Diagnostics, troubleshooting and rectification of the Scarab CanBus vehicle control system;
- Replacement or service/refurbishment of perishable/useful life or consumable machine components;
- On site repairs and servicing;
- Attendance to service calls when required (including out of hours); and
- Operator and workshop training.
Criteria for the Role
In order to maintain these responsibilities, the successful applicant must:
- Hold at least an AQF Level IV qualification (or comparable international qualification) as a Mechanic, Fitter or Auto Electrician;
- Have at least three years’ relevant employment experience;
- Have a drivers licence rated MR or higher;
- Have proficient mechanical knowledge and demonstrated auto-electrical, electrical, and hydraulic;
- Be able to work autonomously whilst maintaining a company driven focus;
- Display a sense of urgency and punctuality in their work;
- Posses strong time management and organisational skills; and
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment to ascertain their ability to adequately perform all duties as required.
