The project
Based at a major project in SA the contract involves the transport of shotcrete from the surface batch plant to the UG mining operations; -
- FIFO from major east coast airports
- Large surface workshop - where most of the work is completed
- Comfortable camp accommodation and meals
- 2:1 roster - Wednesday to Wednesday roster (if flying from interstate, fly in Tuesday afternoon)
The duties
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of experienced tradespeople focused on maintenance and repairs to the fleet of mobile plant . Day to day you will be involved with (but not limited to); -
- Workshop - servicing, PM work, scheduled maintenance, fault finding, component change out
- Field - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
- Machinery - Agitator concrete trucks, LV's, people carriers, light tricks, gensets, lighting towers
Your value
You will have come from a background working on heavy vehicles or mining equipment and have experience in transport, mining, civil or a similar heavy industry; -
- Trade certified diesel mechanic
- Workshop and field experience working on heavy vehicles
- Previous experience in a DIDO/FIFO role (desirable, not essential)
- Commitment to health, safety, and compliance with site requirements
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team

- $52.00ph - $60.00ph + super (depending on skills and experience)
