- Opportunity to work 4 days, be paid for 5!
- Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday
- 4-day week (40 hours), 3 days off
- Up to $45 per hour
- Guaranteed 50 hour week
- Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day
- Up to $50 per hour
- Afternoon Shift rosters with additional 18% loading
The role
As one of our Diesel Mechanics, your work is critical to keep our customer's trucks going and on the road!
Due to Penske's business growth, we are looking for Diesel Mechanics to join our team at our Wacol location, where you can have the option to work either a 4-day week, 50 hour week(on flat rate) or Afternoon shift.

About you:
- Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
- Robust background in maintenance, service and repair of Heavy Vehicles and trucks.
- Exhibit a sound technical knowledge and experience with American or European trucks - Volvo, Mack Scania, or Kenworth.
- Experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, mtu, Detroit and Allison Transmission products would be highly advantageous
- Easily work independently, but just as happy working in a team
- Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
