Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
The Role:
Elecnor has a highly rewarding opportunity for Trade Assistant to join our Plant and Equipment team in rural NSW.
As a Trade Assistant you will assist our mechanics on Heavy Vehicle plant and equipment, carrying out routine cleaning and basic servicing, changing of tyres, basic components and other general duties.
This is a full time permanent fixed term contract on a FIFO or DIDO basis, working 10 hour days on a 21/7 roster.
What you will need for this role:
- Current White card
- Minimum 3 years experience working in automotive/mechanical works
- Additional licenses and tickets beneficial
- Full Australian work rights
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
