Duties & responsibilities:
As a Trainer with WA SAFE DRIVER TRAINING, it will be your responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, ensuring that all necessary paperwork related to training and assessment is completed promptly.
You will also need to identify and report any vehicle faults to the supervisor/Manager and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures at all times. and keep vehicles clean as a community standard.
In addition to these tasks, you will be expected to provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their driving abilities, evaluate their performance, and determine whether they are ready to progress to the next level of training. Collaboration with other trainers and assessors is also vital to ensure consistency in training and assessment processes.

Position requirements:
The qualifications required for this position include a Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination or Multicombination manual license or higher, certification as a Qualified Instructor with the Department of Transport, and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent desirable). In addition to these qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess clear and effective communication skills with people of all ages and genders, great customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
