Help Desk Team Member

Our client is an IT MSP seeking an experienced Help Desk Team Member to join the Perth Office team.  The ideal candidate with have general IT experience, a passion for technology and learning, and a genuine love of customer service who wants to contribute to the company success by providing knowledgeable and perceptive IT solutions across industries and platforms to cultivate positive long-term client relationships.

1. Ticket creation
2. Ticket triage
3. Resolving and clearing tickets
4. Updating documentation
5. Backup checks
6. Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Providing an superior level of service to clients and contribute to continuing cultivation of an outstanding client relationships, the next Team Member will have:

Essential

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
2. Client support and relationship management skills.
3. High-level documentation skills.
4. Ability to elicit and interpret technical issues from non-technical people and the capacity to explain technical aspects to non-technical people.
5. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
6. Ability to prioritise tasks, including exceptional planning and organisation skills. 
7. Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable, and well-regarded

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications with relevant work experience or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and significant relevant experience. 
2. ITIL Foundation Certificate.
3. MSP Help Desk or external provider experience.
4. Experience using ticketing systems.
