Job description

  • Well established NFP organisation working within aged care
  • Onsite 3 days a week with HO located in the Melbourne CBD.
  • Strong Customer Service or Service Desk experience
  • 3 month initial contract with a view to extension
     

Due to change and transformation within the team, an opportunity for an experienced Service Desk/ Helpdesk Consultant has become available. This is working with a Not for Profit organisation is located in the Melbourne CBD.

The role is looking for a professional that enjoys working as part of a team, is customer focused and adaptable to change.

The main purpose of this position is to provide professional Customer Service and efficient Technical Support to internally based customers within current performance standards and service levels. Documentation is provided however a background in a similar role and the ability to engage customers and talk through technical issues is essential.

As mentioned, the role will initially be a 3 month contract however opportunities for permanency and further training will be on offer for the diligent worker. The ability to communicate effectively and to work collaboratively with team members is of the utmost importance.

The key responsibilities for this position are: 

  • Answer inbound IT related calls
  • Process inbound emails
  • Ensure customer incidents, requests and queries are resolved at the 1st level wherever possible.
  • Ensure service levels are met.
  • Perform project activities
  • Ensure the customer experience is preserved at all times.

    Essentially, the successful candidate will possess the following:
     

  • Proven IT Helpdesk experience
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills
  • A sound working knowledge of IT support including OS troubleshooting, OS installing, Network, hardware and software packages
  • Ability to adapt and change in an evolving environment

A flexible, can do attitude and the desire to succeed

The role is Monday to Friday and is an operational role,  so reliability is essential. The successful person will have a passion for excellence and working with others.
